Transitions at the Farm

From the Board of Shalom Hill Farm:

It is with sadness we share the news that our executive co-directors, Lisa Janke and Luke Hollander, have decided that their vocation lies elsewhere. After a full and productive year here at Shalom Hill Farm, we wish them well as they return to Canada and venture on a new path.

Through this time of transition our staff and board will be working together to find the best ways to continue the central work and mission of Shalom Hill Farm. Seamless continuity in guest and group hospitality will be provided by our experienced general manager, Rae Mathias, and our maintenance guru, Norm Peterson.

In October a new full time chef, Tony Hedrick, joined our staff and he is currently living on site at the Farm. Tony brings his restaurant and cooking experience to the position and is excited about our farm to table food philosophy.

As always, your continued support and contributions (whether financial, gifts of time and talents, patronage, or by promotion and prayers) are greatly appreciated.

A note from Lisa & Luke:

“We had an exciting and eventful year at Shalom Hill Farm. We are so grateful for the incredible people we met and especially for the support from surrounding communities. Thank you and may you continue to be blessed in this beautiful corner of God’s creation.”
Thanks,
Lisa & Luke
